Salisbury has now reduced its percentage
from 46 per cent of children
Miss Betty White was given a year's
leave of absence from East Carolina
College to assist in the school health
program. She conducted classes in
Asheville, Burlington, and Salisbury.
Her work was received with enthusiasm,
and we believe the school health
program in these cities was far better
because of her influence and instruction.
