GAMMA wave — the Multifunctional Radio System<br />

Thanks to its use of state-of-the-art technology, the "wave" device<br />

range is ideally suited for the retrofitting <strong>and</strong> modification of<br />

room control functions in existing buildings.<br />

These products offer simple installation <strong>and</strong> commissioning,<br />

thus enabling the wireless remote control of switching, dimming<br />

<strong>and</strong> shutter/blind/scene functions.<br />

The system operates in the 868 MHz fail-safe frequency b<strong>and</strong><br />

that is reserved for safety <strong>and</strong> system applications. A sensor can<br />

control an unlimited number of actuato<strong>rs</strong> within its range<br />

(e.g. enclosed living unit), whereby each radio-linked actuator<br />

channel of up to 10 senso<strong>rs</strong> can be operated in different groups.<br />

As well as wave pushbuttons for lighting control <strong>and</strong> wave shutter/blind<br />

pushbutton for shutter/blind control, the range includes<br />

numerous wall-mounted transmitte<strong>rs</strong>, h<strong>and</strong>-held transmitte<strong>rs</strong>,<br />

door/window contacts <strong>and</strong> smoke detecto<strong>rs</strong>.<br />

The wave <strong>and</strong> wave shutter/blind pushbuttons must be used in<br />

combination with the unive<strong>rs</strong>al dimmer sys inserts or sys switching<br />

inserts <strong>and</strong> sys shutter/blind control inserts. This enables the<br />

local operation <strong>and</strong> remote control of the inserts contained in<br />

these product lines, as well as the remote control of additional<br />

KNX radio-linked unive<strong>rs</strong>al dimme<strong>rs</strong> or switching or sys shutter/<br />

blind control inserts.<br />

The instabus pushbuttons (single or double) must be plugged<br />

into the wave wall-mounted transmitte<strong>rs</strong> as an operator interface.<br />

In accordance with their intended purpose, the pushbutton<br />

rocke<strong>rs</strong> enable remote control of the unive<strong>rs</strong>al dimmer sys inserts,<br />

switching inserts or sys shutter/blind control inserts, which<br />

are equipped with wave pushbuttons.<br />

The inserts are fitted with fixing claws <strong>and</strong> have a maximum<br />

mounting depth of 32 mm. This greatly facilitates mounting st<strong>and</strong>ard<br />

flush-mounting switch boxes.<br />
