In the event of a short-circuit, the unive<strong>rs</strong>al dimmer switches off.<br />

As soon as the short-circuit is eliminated (voltage recovery), the unive<strong>rs</strong>al dimmer automatically switches<br />

back on at the brightness value last set prior to the short-circuit.<br />

In the event of an overload, <strong>and</strong> if the maximum permissible temperature is exceeded, the unive<strong>rs</strong>al dimmer<br />

switches off for at least two minutes.<br />

As soon as the device has cooled down, it is automatically switched to the current setpoint value<br />

Terminals<br />

After system voltage recovery, the <strong>DELTA</strong> sys unive<strong>rs</strong>al dimmer insert switches to the same dimming<br />

value set prior to mains failure,<br />

whereby the <strong>DELTA</strong> sys unive<strong>rs</strong>al dimmer insert automatically learns the load.<br />

A brief flickering indicates that the learning procedure is running<br />

The terminals for the <strong>DELTA</strong> unive<strong>rs</strong>al dimmer sys insert comprise three screw terminals,<br />

the following conductor/cross-sections are permissible:<br />

• 0,5 … 2.5 mm² solid<br />

• 0,5 … 1.5 mm² finely str<strong>and</strong>ed with end sleeve without insulating collar (gas-tight crimp connection)<br />

Caution: If the conducto<strong>rs</strong> need to be looped through, only conducto<strong>rs</strong> with max. 1.5 mm² can be used<br />
