Day 1 – To Moscow: Fly from London
Heathrow to Moscow with British Airways.
Transfer to the Marriott Royal Aurora for 2
nights. (N)
Day 2 – Moscow: Morning tour of Moscow,
including Red Square, St Basil’s Cathedral, and
the spectacular Metro. Afternoon visit to the
Tretyakov Gallery, which houses the largest
collection of Russian art in the world. (B, L)
Day 3 – Moscow: Morning visit to the Kremlin.
The tour includes Cathedral Square and the
Armoury Museum, which houses an opulent
collection of treasures collected by the Russian
state and church. Afternoon at leisure. Board

Day 4 – Uglich: Walking tour of Uglich,
including the Chapel of Dmitry and Church of
Transfiguration. (B, L, D)
Day 5 – Yaroslavl: Explore the oldest city on
the Volga and visit the Saviour Transfiguration
in the Spassky Monastery and the Church of
Elijah the Prophet, which has intricate frescoes.

Monastery to see its magnificent frescoes.

Day 7 – Kizhi: Explore the Unesco world
heritage site of Kizhi Island. Visit the open-air
museum of history and architecture, including
the Transfiguration Cathedral. Featuring 22

Volga Dream is the most prestigious cruise
vessel operating on the Russian waterways.
The ship has 56 superbly appointed
guest cabins, each with air conditioning, a
flatscreen TV, safe and minibar. The ship is
equipped with stylish teak deck furniture
and a fitness centre with sauna. All cabins
have outside views. Panoramic windows
are in all cabins except on the Cabin deck,
which features portholes. Double beds are
only available for the Promenade and Sun
decks. All meals are included on the cruise
(breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner)
with house wine, draught beer and soft
drinks served with lunch and dinner. Daily
lectures on Russian cuisine, politics and
lifestyles are available to guests on board
as well as classical film performances and
language classes.
