THE JOURNEY
Day 1 – To Cordoba: Morning flight from
London Gatwick or Heathrow to Madrid
with British Airways. Transfer to the station for
the train to Cordoba (2 hours). Stay at the
Hotel Amistad / Hospes Palacio del Bailio for
2 nights. (N)
Day 2 – Cordoba: Full day at leisure to explore
the mosque cathedral, Mezquita, and the
Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos. (B)
Day 3 – To Seville: Morning at leisure. Early
afternoon transfer to the station for the train
journey to Seville (30 minutes). Stay for 2 nights
at the Petit Palace Marques Santa Ana Hotel /
Hospes Las Casas Del Rey De Baeza. (B)
Day 4 – Seville: Full day at leisure. Visit the
cathedral, Plaza de España and the Royal
Alcazar. (B)
Day 5 – To Granada: Morning at leisure.
Transfer to the station for the train journey
to Granada (3 hours). Stay at the AC Palacio
De Santa Paula Hotel / Hospes Palacio de Los
Patos for 2 nights. (B)
Day 6 – Granada: Full day at leisure to discover
the magnificent 13th-century Alhambra Palace,
the last Moorish stronghold of Spain. (B)
Day 7 – To London: Morning at leisure. Transfer
to Malaga airport and fly to London Gatwick

This self-drive tour combines visits to San
Sebastian, the gastronomic heart of Spain,
with the vineyards of La Rioja. Travelling from
the largest Basque town, Bilbao, via the chic
resort of San Sebastian and Pamplona, you
will finish with a stay in the centre of the
wine-making capital with time to explore the
various villages and wineries.

Day 1 – To Bilbao: Morning flight from London
Heathrow to Bilbao with Vueling. Stay at the

the city or optional visit to the futuristic

for its annual bull running. Stay 1 night at the

Day 5 – To Haro: Morning at leisure. Afternoon
drive to the town of Haro, situated in the heart
of La Rioja wine country. Stay for 2 nights at

Day 6 – La Rioja: Full day to explore the
region’s vineyards. Entrances are included to the
Marques de Riscal and Cellars Ysiois wineries. (B)
