the Lycian Cruise<br />

8 Days / 7 Nights<br />

Day 1 – to Gocek: Fly to Dalaman airport<br />

and transfer to the village of Gocek, a<br />

30-minute drive away. There will be a<br />

welcome cocktail aboard the gulet before<br />

departing for Gocek island where the boat<br />

will moor overnight. (N)<br />

Day 2 – Gemiler: Depart and cruise to the<br />

Oludeniz lagoon, surrounded by mountains<br />

and golden sandy beaches. Late afternoon<br />

cruise to Gemiler island, known for its<br />

Byzantine remains, and enjoy a grill party<br />

ashore. (B)<br />

Day 3 – Bayindir: Early morning departure<br />

to Kas, a charming village where a number<br />

of Lycian tombs have been carved into the<br />

hillside. Stay overnight in Bayindir harbour. (B)<br />

Day 4 – Kas: Day in Kas, exploring the<br />

Lycian remains, also visiting Ucagiz bay and<br />

Kale village. (B)<br />

Day 5 – Kalkan: After breakfast sail to<br />

Kalkan, a small fishing village with a range of<br />

antique and carpet shops. Stay overnight on<br />

board the ship. (B)<br />

Day 6 – Fethiye: Depart from Kalkan in<br />

an air-conditioned minibus for Xanthos,<br />

the birthplace of Bishop Nicholas of Myra<br />

and then travel to Patara, home to an<br />

11km long beach. Continue to Letoon. This<br />

ancient city has temples of Apollo, Artemis<br />

and Leto as well as ruins of a Hellenistic<br />

theatre. Meet the boat at Fethiye after<br />

lunch in Saklikent. (B)<br />

Day 7 – Gocek: Visit Sarsala Bay before<br />

continuing to Gocek. Last night on board. (B)<br />

Day 8 – to London: Leave the boat and<br />

transfer to the airport at Dalaman for your<br />

11 Days / 10 Nights<br />

Day 1 – to Marmaris: Fly to Dalaman and<br />

transfer to your gulet in Marmaris harbour.<br />

Day 2 – Ekincik: Sail to Ekincik, a protected<br />

bay ideal for water sports. Take a small<br />

boat to view the Caretta Caretta turtles at<br />

Caunos, which is also home to the remains<br />

Day 3 – Kumlubuku: Cruise to Kumlubuku<br />

which is renowned for its long and pleasant<br />

Day 4 – Kecibuku: Visit the islet of Kecibuku<br />

Day 5 – Datca: Sail to the lively town of<br />

Datca and stay overnight to enjoy the<br />

Day 6 – Mersincik: Visit the ruins of the<br />

ancient city of Knidos en route to the bay<br />

Day 7 – Yedi Adalar: Known as the seven<br />

islands, this area abounds with aquatic life. (B)<br />

Day 8 – English Harbour: Surrounded by<br />

pine forests, the bay derives it name from<br />

when British motor torpedo boats used it<br />

as a base during the second world war. (B)<br />

Day 9 – sedre & sogut: Sail to Sedre and<br />

Cleopatra island. Relax on the beach, which,<br />

according to legend, had sand imported<br />

from north Africa for Mark Anthony to<br />

sunbathe on. Continue to Sogut, the ‘honey<br />

water bay’, which has a picturesque setting<br />

and several excellent restaurants. (B)<br />

Day 10 – Cokertime: Cruise to the village<br />

of Cokertime, which is renowned for its<br />

carpet production. (B)<br />

Day 11 – to London: Leave the boat and<br />

transfer to the airport at Bodrum. (B)<br />

Day 1 – to oraklar island: Fly to Bodrum<br />

airport and transfer to your gulet in the<br />

harbour. Depart for Oraklar island where<br />

the boat will moor overnight. (N)<br />

Day 2 – Cokertime: Cruise to the village<br />

of Cokertime, which is renowned for its<br />

carpet production. The village has one or<br />

two little restaurants, which offer local<br />

cuisine in a romantic setting with the<br />

Day 3 – Akbuk: After breakfast, sail to the<br />

remote bay of Akbuk for swimming or<br />
