the Lycian Cruise
8 Days / 7 Nights
Day 1 – to Gocek: Fly to Dalaman airport
and transfer to the village of Gocek, a
30-minute drive away. There will be a
welcome cocktail aboard the gulet before
departing for Gocek island where the boat
will moor overnight. (N)
Day 2 – Gemiler: Depart and cruise to the
Oludeniz lagoon, surrounded by mountains
and golden sandy beaches. Late afternoon
cruise to Gemiler island, known for its
Byzantine remains, and enjoy a grill party
ashore. (B)
Day 3 – Bayindir: Early morning departure
to Kas, a charming village where a number
of Lycian tombs have been carved into the
hillside. Stay overnight in Bayindir harbour. (B)
Day 4 – Kas: Day in Kas, exploring the
Lycian remains, also visiting Ucagiz bay and
Kale village. (B)
Day 5 – Kalkan: After breakfast sail to
Kalkan, a small fishing village with a range of
antique and carpet shops. Stay overnight on
board the ship. (B)
Day 6 – Fethiye: Depart from Kalkan in
an air-conditioned minibus for Xanthos,
the birthplace of Bishop Nicholas of Myra
and then travel to Patara, home to an
11km long beach. Continue to Letoon. This
ancient city has temples of Apollo, Artemis
and Leto as well as ruins of a Hellenistic
theatre. Meet the boat at Fethiye after
lunch in Saklikent. (B)
Day 7 – Gocek: Visit Sarsala Bay before
continuing to Gocek. Last night on board. (B)
Day 8 – to London: Leave the boat and
transfer to the airport at Dalaman for your
flight home. (B)

Day 1 – to Marmaris: Fly to Dalaman and
transfer to your gulet in Marmaris harbour.
Sail for Turunc in the evening. (N)
Day 2 – Ekincik: Sail to Ekincik, a protected
bay ideal for water sports. Take a small
boat to view the Caretta Caretta turtles at
Caunos, which is also home to the remains
of ancient temples and tombs. (B)
Day 3 – Kumlubuku: Cruise to Kumlubuku
which is renowned for its long and pleasant
sandy beach. (B)
Day 4 – Kecibuku: Visit the islet of Kecibuku
with its Byzantine fortifications. (B)
Day 5 – Datca: Sail to the lively town of
Datca and stay overnight to enjoy the
various restaurants and bars. (B)
Day 6 – Mersincik: Visit the ruins of the
ancient city of Knidos en route to the bay
of Mersincik. (X)
Day 7 – Yedi Adalar: Known as the seven
islands, this area abounds with aquatic life. (B)
Day 8 – English Harbour: Surrounded by
pine forests, the bay derives it name from
when British motor torpedo boats used it
as a base during the second world war. (B)
Day 9 – sedre & sogut: Sail to Sedre and
Cleopatra island. Relax on the beach, which,
according to legend, had sand imported
from north Africa for Mark Anthony to
sunbathe on. Continue to Sogut, the ‘honey
water bay’, which has a picturesque setting
and several excellent restaurants. (B)
Day 10 – Cokertime: Cruise to the village
of Cokertime, which is renowned for its
carpet production. (B)
Day 11 – to London: Leave the boat and
transfer to the airport at Bodrum. (B)

Day 1 – to oraklar island: Fly to Bodrum
airport and transfer to your gulet in the
harbour. Depart for Oraklar island where
the boat will moor overnight. (N)
Day 2 – Cokertime: Cruise to the village
of Cokertime, which is renowned for its
carpet production. The village has one or
two little restaurants, which offer local
cuisine in a romantic setting with the
mountain range in the background. (B)
Day 3 – Akbuk: After breakfast, sail to the
remote bay of Akbuk for swimming or
peaceful relaxation. (B)
Day 4 – sedre & sogut: Sail to Sedre and
Cleopatra island. Relax on the beach, which,
according to legend, had sand imported

sunbathe on. Continue to Sogut, the ‘honey
