This 9-day itinerary stays in the most iconic
locations of the region: Naples, Sorrento and
the island of Capri.
THE JOURNEY
Day 1 – To Naples: Morning flight from
London Gatwick to Naples airport. Transfer
and stay 2 nights at the Hotel Excelsior. (N)
Day 2 – Naples: Full day at leisure to explore
the city. Naples has a wealth of historical
sites and one of the world’s most important
archaeological museums, the Museo
Archeologico Nazionale. (B)
Day 3 – To Sorrento: Morning at leisure.
Afternoon drive along the Gulf of Naples
to Sorrento and transfer to the Maison La
Minervetta for 3 nights. (B)
Days 4-5 – Sorrento: Full days at leisure
to explore Sorrento or the surrounding
region. Sorrento has a wide variety of shops,
restaurants and cultural sights, including the
cathedral and 18th-century Palazzo Correale.
Nearby highlights of the area include Pompeii,
Herculaneum, the scenic Amalfi coast and
island of Ischia. (B)
Day 6 – To Capri: Morning at leisure.
Afternoon transfer by car and hydrofoil to
the island of Capri. Stay 3 nights at the Casa
Morgana Hotel. (B)
Days 7-8 – Capri: Full days at leisure to
explore Capri. Situated just 5km from the
mainland in the Bay of Naples, the island
