Stay in the capital, Valletta for 3 nights and<br />

THE JOURNEY<br />
Day 1 – To Valletta: Morning flight from<br />
London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester or<br />
Birmingham with Air Malta or from Belfast<br />
International, London Gatwick, Liverpool,<br />
Manchester or Newcastle with easyJet. Transfer<br />
to the Phoenicia Hotel for 3 nights. (N)<br />
Days 2-3 – Valletta: Full days at leisure or<br />
optional excursions to explore the capital of<br />
the island, Valletta, and its renowned three<br />
cities or visit the Unesco world heritage sites<br />
of Tarxien and Hagar Qim. (B)<br />
Day 4 – To Mdina: Morning transfer from<br />
Valletta to Mdina. Stay 3 nights at the Xara<br />
Palace Hotel. (B)<br />
Days 5-6 – Mdina: Full days at leisure to explore<br />
Mdina. Known as the silent city, Mdina is a<br />
medieval walled citadel with magnificent views<br />
over the island. Close to Mdina is the small<br />
village of Rabat, which has an early Christian<br />
underground complex named after St Paul. (B)<br />
Day 7 – To London: Late morning transfer to<br />
the airport for your flight with Air Malta or<br />
easyJet. (B)<br />
