This itinerary takes in the wonders of the
four capitals of scandinavia, each with their
own cultural and historical identities.
starting in stockholm, travelling to Helsinki
and Copenhagen and finishing in Oslo,
the tour is balanced to feature the main
attractions in each city and allow free time
for further exploration.
THE JOURNEY
Day 1 – To stockholm: Fly from London
Heathrow to Stockholm with British Airways.
Transfer and stay 2 nights at the Clarion Hotel
Sign. (D)
Day 2 – stockholm: Morning city tour of
Sweden’s capital city. View the Royal Palace, the
island of Djurgarden and visit the City Hall with
its famous Blue and Golden Rooms where
the Nobel prize banquet is held each year.
Afternoon at leisure. (B)
Vigeland sculpture park, the Viking ships and
the Fram polar exploration ship. Afternoon at
leisure. Stay at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia
Hotel Oslo for 2 nights. (B, D)
Day 9 – To London: Morning at leisure.
Afternoon flight to London Heathrow with
British Airways. (B)
Meal basis: As per itinerary – B: Breakfast,
L: Lunch, D: Dinner, N: No meals.

Ferry crossings: Accommodation on the
overnight ferries with Silja Line and DFDS
Seaways are in two-berth outside cabins with
shower and lavatory.

Day 3 – To Helsinki: Morning at leisure.
Afternoon transfer to the ferry port for the
Silja Line crossing to Helsinki. (B, D)
Day 4 – To stockholm: Morning city tour
of Helsinki. View the Uspenskij Cathedral,
Senate Square, Finlandia Hall and the New
Opera House. Afternoon at leisure. Transfer
to the ferry port for the Silja line crossing to
Stockholm. (B, D)
Day 5 – To Copenhagen: Morning arrival into
Stockholm. Drive through southern Sweden via
Malmo and Klaralven to Copenhagen. Transfer
and stay 2 nights at the Admiral Hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 6 – Copenhagen: Morning tour of
Denmark’s capital. View the Amalienborg
Palace, Hans Christian Andersen’s statue and
the renowned Little Mermaid. Continue to visit
the Tivoli Gardens. Afternoon at leisure. (B)
Day 7 – To Oslo: Morning at leisure. Afternoon
transfer to the ferry port for the DFDS
Seaways crossing to Oslo. (B, D)
Day 8 – Oslo: Morning tour of Oslo, including
