Corporate Ethics and Compliance<br />

<strong>Mazda</strong> believes that a company cannot achieve<br />

susta<strong>in</strong>able growth without the trust of all its<br />

stakeholders, whether these are customers,<br />

shareholders, <strong>in</strong>vestors, suppliers, employees or the<br />

local communities where we work, both <strong>in</strong> Japan and<br />

overseas. We are committed to strict adherence to all<br />

relevant laws, and to bus<strong>in</strong>ess practices that follow<br />

appropriate ethical codes, as a basic means of ensur<strong>in</strong>g<br />

that the company meets its social responsibilities and is<br />

trusted by its stakeholders. At <strong>Mazda</strong>, we are aware of<br />

the importance of compliance by our directors and<br />

employees, and we promote true and fair bus<strong>in</strong>ess<br />

practices throughout the <strong>Mazda</strong> Group.<br />

Reports of violations of law or regulation:<br />

All retaliatory action or <strong>in</strong>appropriate treatment with respect to any person<br />

report<strong>in</strong>g or cooperat<strong>in</strong>g with <strong>in</strong>vestigation of violations is forbidden.<br />
