Impairment loss concurred with the generalized crisis in the economic environment that had a negative impact on the pharmaceutical industry in that year. Based on a goodwill impairment test carried out during the last quarter of fiscal 2010, the Group determined an impairment loss was not incurred for 2010. (*) At December, 31, 2010, the Company recognized various commercial trademarks previously acquired independently by FASA as identifiable intangible assets. As a result of the acquisition of FASA, those commercial trademarks were recorded at fair value at the acquisition date in the amount of Ps. 3,971,000 (Note 1 b). F-35
