The UPI-SERIES – frequency isolator / transformer with<br />
alarm function<br />

The frequency isolators with alarm function from the UPI-SERIES<br />
convert standard analogue current and voltage signals into a<br />
proportional frequency. Measurement errors (which can occur<br />
with low input frequencies) are eliminated with a programmable<br />
frequency suppression. In addition, a quadratic function linearizes<br />
the signals. External passive sensors can be supplied directly<br />
via the analogue frequency isolating transformer. An alarm<br />
output is available for monitoring the input signal. The fourcharacter<br />
LED display can be set universally. The corresponding<br />
scaling for the input parameters is then carried out automatically.<br />
The user-friendly menus are easy and navigate and make it<br />
easy to configure the operating parameters. Specific parameters<br />
can be selected and changed using the keyboard and display.<br />
The analogue frequency isolating transformer from the<br />
UPI-SERIES feature complete 2-kV electrical isolation. Wires are<br />
connected on the front side with a pluggable screw mechanism.<br />
The modules can be directly mounted on TS35/TS32 DIN rails.<br />
