Minutes <strong>of</strong> Local Approvals Committee Meeting on 21 May 2002

concerned. The Mayor declared the <strong>meeting</strong> adjourned for 5 <strong>minutes</strong> and vacated the
Chair.
NOTE 4: Resumption <strong>of</strong> the Meeting
At 9.31pm the <strong>meeting</strong> was resumed.
Council Decision (Rescission Motion Lodged) 390
That Cr Forrest be censured for his refusal to apologise for his derogatory remarks made towards
staff and Councillors during his right <strong>of</strong> reply on this Item.

For: Crs Jones, J Sutton, Caputo, Moxham and Stephens.
Against: Crs Colman, Forrest, Smith and R Sutton.
NOTE 5: Notice <strong>of</strong> Rescission
Crs Colman, R Sutton and Smith gave written notice <strong>of</strong> their intention to move to
rescind the above mentioned resolution <strong>of</strong> Council <strong>of</strong> which due notice is hereby
given.
Accordingly, in view <strong>of</strong> the forgoing, Council’s decision in this matter will not be
carried into effect until the rescission motion has been dealt with and
determined.
NOTE 6: Cr Caputo was absent from the Chamber during part consideration and discussion <strong>of</strong>
this Item.
NOTE 7: Supplementary Motion
Crs Forrest and R Sutton moved a supplementary motion to the following effect:
“That Council notes will concern that amended plans dated 16 May 2002 were not
advised to all Councillors but merely to Cr Jones’ for his scrutiny.”
