flat building as he own adjoining properties and was absent from the Chamber during<br />

c<strong>on</strong>siderati<strong>on</strong> and discussi<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>, and voting up<strong>on</strong>, this item.<br />

RECOMMENDATION OF DIRECTOR PUBLIC OFFICE<br />

1. That the Council endorse the acti<strong>on</strong> taken by the LGA to mount an appeal to the High<br />

Court in relati<strong>on</strong> to Secti<strong>on</strong> 611 telecommunicati<strong>on</strong> charges.<br />

2. That the Council c<strong>on</strong>tribute $6,266 towards the legal costs to be incurred <strong>on</strong> behalf <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

NSW Councils by the Associati<strong>on</strong>s in the High Court appeal.<br />
