f. Plumbing and Drainage c<strong>on</strong>tractors certificate indicating that sewer/waste water<br />

system has been installed and completed in accordance with the Sydney Water<br />

requirements.<br />

g. Accredited waterpro<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> installers certificate which certifies the waterpro<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>ing<br />

system has been applied in accordance with the manufactures recommendati<strong>on</strong>s<br />

and AS 3470-1994 ”Waterpro<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>ing <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> Wet Areas in Residential Buildings”.<br />

h. Mechanical Engineers certificate which certifies the air handling system has been<br />

designed, installed and is operati<strong>on</strong>al in accordance with the requirements <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> AS<br />

1668-1991 “The use <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> mechanical ventilati<strong>on</strong> and air-c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>ing in buildings,<br />

Part 1: Fire and smoke c<strong>on</strong>trol” / Part 2: Mechanical ventilati<strong>on</strong> for acceptance<br />

indoor-air quality”.<br />

i. Registered Surveyors, Identificati<strong>on</strong> Survey report indicating the locati<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the<br />

completed development <strong>on</strong> the site in relati<strong>on</strong> to all boundaries.<br />

j. Registered Surveyors identificati<strong>on</strong> report indicating the finished site / floor / ro<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

/ ridge levels in relati<strong>on</strong> to a nominated fixed datum point / are in accordance with<br />

the levels indicating plans.<br />

k. Glazing installati<strong>on</strong> c<strong>on</strong>tractor certificate stating all glazing has been selected and<br />

installed in accordance with AS 1288-1994 and the appropriate terrain category<br />

classificati<strong>on</strong>.<br />

l. Drainage c<strong>on</strong>tractors Certificate certifying that the stormwater drainage system<br />

has been satisfactorily installed and completed.<br />

10. Excavati<strong>on</strong>s and Backfilling<br />

a. All excavati<strong>on</strong>s and backfilling associated with the erecti<strong>on</strong> or demoliti<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> a<br />

building must be executed safely and in accordance with appropriate pr<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>essi<strong>on</strong>al<br />

standards.<br />

b. All excavati<strong>on</strong>s associated with the erecti<strong>on</strong> or demoliti<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> a building must be<br />

properly guarded and protected to prevent them from being dangerous to life or<br />

property. (C378)<br />

11. Support for Neighbouring Buildings<br />

a. If an excavati<strong>on</strong> associated with the erecti<strong>on</strong> or demoliti<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> a building extends<br />

below the level <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the base <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the footings <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> a building <strong>on</strong> an adjoining allotment<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> land, the pers<strong>on</strong> causing the excavati<strong>on</strong> to be made:<br />

(i) must preserve and protect the building from damage, and<br />

(ii) if necessary, must underpin and support the building in an approved<br />

(iii)<br />

manner, and<br />

must, at least 7 days before excavating below the level <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the base <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the<br />

footings <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> a building <strong>on</strong> an adjoining allotment <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> land, give notice <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

intenti<strong>on</strong> to do so to the owner <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the adjoining allotment <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> land and<br />

furnish particulars <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the excavati<strong>on</strong> to the owner <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the building being<br />

erected or demolished.<br />

b. The owner <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the adjoining allotment <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> land is not liable for any part <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the cost<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> work carried out for the purposes <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> this clause, whether carried out <strong>on</strong> the<br />

allotment <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> land being excavated or <strong>on</strong> the adjoining allotment <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> land.<br />

c. In this clause, allotment <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> land includes a public road and any other public place.<br />

12. Protecti<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> Public Places<br />

a. If the work involved in the erecti<strong>on</strong> or demoliti<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> a building:<br />
