Appearance: Ruaidhri is an elven hunter wearing<br />

silvered chain mail and wielding a silver longsword, with<br />

a longbow on his shoulders and silver-tipped arrows in<br />

his quiver.<br />

His<strong>to</strong>ry: Ruaidhri was born in <strong>the</strong> IV century AC on<br />

<strong>the</strong> Traders’ Isle in Minrothad in<strong>to</strong> a family of wood<br />

elves. He witnessed all his parents and relatives massacred<br />

by werehawks during <strong>the</strong> spreading of lycanthropy in<br />

Minrothad. Mad with rage and burning with vengeance,<br />

he led <strong>the</strong> faction of elves that eventually brought about<br />

<strong>the</strong> Silver Purge in AC 443. After ridding Minrothad of<br />

its werebeasts, he left his home <strong>to</strong> complete his revenge,<br />

following all traces and rumours pointing <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> existence<br />

of werehawks around <strong>the</strong> world. He killed <strong>the</strong> last<br />

member of that race in AC 593. After all his travels and<br />

experiences he was convinced that despite all his efforts<br />

and long life, a mere mortal could never free <strong>the</strong> world<br />

from <strong>the</strong> plague of lycanthropy. Because of this, he chose<br />

<strong>to</strong> walk <strong>the</strong> path <strong>to</strong>wards immortality: in order <strong>to</strong><br />

continue his hunt for all eternity. He became an<br />

Immortal in <strong>the</strong> VIII century AC, and his cult is<br />

especially prevalent in Minrothad and Undersea.<br />

Personality: Ruaidhri’s crusade, against what he<br />

perceives <strong>to</strong> be a cursed race that preys on <strong>the</strong> living and<br />

is above all a constant threat <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> life of all<br />

demi-humans (he was an elf), obsesses him. Because of<br />

this, he eliminates werecreatures without regret or mercy.<br />

Because of his ruthless hatred of all lycanthropes, he has<br />

become a fierce enemy of Mrikitat, Orcus, and even<br />

Zirchev, who instead protects <strong>the</strong>m. Ruaidhri is a loner<br />

who doesn’t want stable alliances, and even his sponsor,<br />

Malinois, abandoned him when he realized <strong>the</strong> extent of<br />

his pupil’s hatred. In order <strong>to</strong> pursue his vendetta,<br />

Ruaidhri will go <strong>to</strong> great lengths, even allying himself<br />

with Entropics needed.<br />

Worshipped in: Izondan Abyss, Sea of Dread,<br />

Undersea, and everywhere where devilfish are present<br />

Appearance: Saasskas’s first form is that of an<br />

enormous ink black manta with keen fangs that extend<br />

from its mouth. The second form is that of a creature with<br />

<strong>the</strong> upper half of a human woman with a face deformed by<br />

an enormous mouth and fangs. It has smooth, milky skin, six<br />

muscular, weapon-wielding arms, and a powerfully long<br />

serpent tail of white scales. Its nude back bears a tat<strong>to</strong>o of a<br />

black manta.<br />

His<strong>to</strong>ry: Saasskas began her mortal life as one of <strong>the</strong><br />

most ruthless devilfish of <strong>the</strong> sou<strong>the</strong>rn seas. After leading<br />

legions of her kind <strong>to</strong> raid and predate <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r<br />

underwater races for decades, she succeeding eventually<br />

in becoming a vampire (ixitxachitl) thanks <strong>to</strong> a pact with<br />

Demogorgon. From that moment, she dedicated herself<br />

<strong>to</strong> achieving true immortality, a goal she realised around<br />

XXIV century BC. She accomplished this by sacrificing<br />

thousands of tri<strong>to</strong>ns on altars situated in <strong>the</strong> oceanic<br />

depths of <strong>the</strong> Izondan Deep and causing an entire tri<strong>to</strong>n<br />

population <strong>to</strong> flee in fear of her. After spending couple of<br />

centuries in <strong>the</strong> outer planes advancing <strong>the</strong> plans of<br />

Entropy, Saasskas returned <strong>to</strong> Mystara and saw that her<br />

natural enemies, <strong>the</strong> tri<strong>to</strong>ns, were living in <strong>the</strong> Sunlit Sea<br />

and had founded Undersea. She appeared <strong>to</strong> her followers<br />

and exhorted <strong>the</strong>m <strong>to</strong> undertake an evil crusade against<br />

<strong>the</strong> Sunlit Sea tri<strong>to</strong>ns, guiding <strong>the</strong>ir actions from <strong>the</strong><br />

shadows. She also subjugated some Taymoran priests<br />

inducing <strong>the</strong>m <strong>to</strong> follow <strong>the</strong> entropic cause and harass her<br />

enemies. Following <strong>the</strong> terrible natural catastrophe that<br />

caused <strong>the</strong> Taymoran region <strong>to</strong> sink in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Sea of<br />

Dread, Saasskas <strong>to</strong>ok many of <strong>the</strong> Taymoran dead and<br />

reanimated <strong>the</strong>m as zombies and velya under her control,<br />

spreading <strong>the</strong>m throughout <strong>the</strong> Sea of Dread. Today<br />

Saasskas controls many hordes of undead, devilfish and<br />

pirates, scattered throughout <strong>the</strong> Sea of Dread, where her<br />

humanoid followers also know her as Panzuriel.<br />

Personality: Saasskas is an unfaithful yet far-sighted<br />

Immortal. She prefers corrupting and later exploiting all<br />

those that venture in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> dark realm of her followers,<br />

and isn’t in any hurry <strong>to</strong> achieve her aims, given that she<br />

has a firm conviction in <strong>the</strong> absolute power of chaos. She<br />
