Activity Handout DESIGNING AND CONDUCTING A WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY SURVEY PURPOSE To understand the steps to consider when designing and conducting a workplace health and safety survey. TASKS You are your local union’s health and safety committee. Your task is to develop a plan for the union to conduct some type of health and safety survey at the workplace. As a group, review the questions below and discuss and decide on answers to them. Select a reporter/recorder to take notes on your group’s answers and be prepared to share them with the larger group at the end of approximately 30 minutes. 1.
