ATTITUDES ABOUT WORKPLACE INJURIES,
ILLNESSES AND HAZARDS
Option I
PURPOSE
To explore causes of workplace injuries and illnesses.
TASKS
In your small group, have each person take a few minutes to individually
read the statement below and decide if you agree or disagree with it.
After a few minutes, call the group together to discuss ideas. Try to come
to a group agreement on whether you agree or disagree, and the reasons
for selecting that answer. Select a reporter who will record and share
your group’s responses with the large group.
If your group cannot come to agreement, the reporter may present a
“majority” and “minority” (or “divided house”) report.
