StoreFront 5.0 imperative to the security of your web. Refer to page 166 for information on securing your database. incldesign.asp: the design parameters for your Themes are stored in this text file. inctext.asp: this file contains the design parameters for the StoreFront search engines. FILES IN THE IMAGES FOLDER This folder is created by StoreFront to assist you in the organization of your web. The folder contains two subfolders: themes and buttons. These folders are intended to hold the images used by your site’s themes, and the images used as buttons. Themes and buttons are covered in greater detail under StoreFront Theme Design , page 101. You do not have to use these folders if they don’t fit with your current organizational scheme. The images you use for your themes and buttons can be located anywhere in the web. FILES IN THE SFLIB FOLDER The SFLib folder contains a series of include files. These are files that contain specific functions that are called for by more than one of the files in the web. Whenever one of your files needs to use one of these functions, it pulls the function from the SFLib folder. These files do not contain easily customizable functions or components. FILES IN THE SSL FOLDER The files in the SSL folder will be accessed under the Secure Sockets Layer, ensuring that the information they collect and the functions that they perform are encrypted. orderform.asp: this is the order form that is used to collect customer information, such as credit card information, billing address, shipping address, and contact information. This file does not display independently, but is loaded by process_order.asp. process_order.asp: this file is the second step of the checkout process. After a customer checks out from order.asp, process_order.asp will load with orderform.asp to collect customer information and finalize the checkout process. verify.asp: this page forms the final step in the checkout process. After a customer submits their information at process_order.asp, they will be shown the information they 16
User Guide have entered by verify.asp. This page also collects the information necessary to bill an order, such as the payment method that will be used and a credit card number if one is required. After confirming the information presented by verify.asp, the customer will be sent to confirm.asp where the order will be finished. error_trap.asp: this file will capture most errors that occur in the files of the SSL folder, presenting a formatted error message to customers. password.asp: returning customers who wish to change their passwords or who have forgotten their passwords will be sent to this page. FILES IN THE SSL/SFLIB FOLDER The files in the SSL/SFLib folder are include files that contain functions that are used by the files in the SSL folder. These files do not contain easily customizable functions or components. FILES IN THE SSL/ADMIN FOLDER The SSL/Admin folder contains files that you can use to perform administrative duties, such as sending promotional mails and retrieving sales reports. These files are not easily customizable. It is vital that the Admin folder be password protected in order to ensure that outsiders do not have access to the customer information provided by the Sales Reports tools. See Securing your StoreFront Web, page 166, for more information. printecheck.asp: this file will be used to print the echeck for any customer’s order that is paid for using an echeck. promo_mail.asp: you can view this page in your browser to send promotional mailings to any customer on your mailing list. See Using the Promotional Mailer, page 183, for more information. sfreports*.asp: the SFReports*.asp files perform various sales reporting functions.
