<strong>StoreFront</strong> <strong>5.0</strong> already been designated as Sale Items. Follow the instructions below to create and apply a Store-wide Sale. 1. Connect to your database using the Store Administrator. If you are unsure of how to do this, please refer to Connecting to a Remote or Local Database, page 21, for further instructions. 2. Click the Store-wide Discount Manager. 3. In the Store-wide Sale Percent field, enter the amount you would like to discount orders by when the Store-wide Sale is active. The amount should be entered as a decimal value of 1. For example, a rate of .1 will apply a 10% discount to orders. 4. Check Activate to begin using the Store-wide Sale. You can uncheck this option later to end the sale. 5. Click Update to save these changes before you close the Administer Store-wide Sales menu. ENABLING FREE SHIPPING In addition to the customer incentives provided by product sales and store-wide sales, you can also allow your customers to have free shipping on orders with totals exceeding a preset amount. Follow the instructions below to enable free shipping. 1. Connect to your database using the Store Administrator. If you are unsure of how to do this, please refer to Connecting to a Remote or Local Database, page 21 for further instructions. 2. Click on the Store-Wide Discount Manager. 3. In the Free Shipping for Sales Above: field, specify the order total where you want shipping to become free to a customer. Check Activate. 188
