The XYZ training program is committed to using GOTS and COTStools and products already owned by the Government <strong>for</strong> the purpose <strong>of</strong> per<strong>for</strong>ming digital projectmanagement operations. This section describes the XYZ training program infrastructure thatparticipating activities and contractors should consider in determining <strong>for</strong>mat and communicationcapabilities. This data is provided to allow program participants to understand the capabilities <strong>of</strong> otherusers and to make in<strong>for</strong>med decisions regarding options and capabilities that will be or could beestablished to support the program.5.1 User capabilities. Table 5-1 describes a sample <strong>of</strong> the hardware, s<strong>of</strong>tware, andcommunication network capabilities that each user activity would typically have currently. Thisin<strong>for</strong>mation is not intended to be all inclusive; rather it gives prospective <strong>of</strong>ferors a general insight intothe infrastructure in place to support the program including hardware, s<strong>of</strong>tware, and networkingcapabilities <strong>of</strong> XYZ training program activities.
