which appeared gave the illusion of alwaysbeing there and unchanged.This was calming in and of itself. Theemptiness gave the illusion of being achangeless background,and the bubble-realms a changing foreground.I recalled again in another dream somewherecalling this state of “understanding” the Not-I-Istate.Why the Not-I-I state?Because The “I” was not, there was just theemptiness,and yet there was an “I” or a knower who knewthe emptiness or nothingness.Strangely, when the emptiness was viewedthrough the veil of awareness the emptinessseemed to reveal and conceal and then revealthe nature of the bubble-realms.This gave the illusion of the emptiness alwaysremaining unchanged, like a blank screen.Thus, the Not-I-I state with its veil or lens ofawareness was a more subtle statean interesting point of departure within a verysubtle bubble-realm.And then it dawned on me again, the operativeword in Bohm’s implicate order was order.141
It was the veil of awareness which containedthe illusion of orderand it was awareness which organizing andinformed the perceiver and its perceiveduniverse.It was the veil of awareness which very verysubtly appeared with the reference pointof the “I”. And, once the “I” as a referencepoint dissolved, so did the illusionarysubstance labeled awareness along with itsperceivable world.It was the very very subtle awareness lens orveil utilizing the illusionary temporary stateof the Not-I-I state which gave the illusionwhich gradually solidified the label called“me” and “the world”.With each bubble and question that wouldarise the illusionary nature of both the questionand answer was based only an illusionaryconcept which existed only within a bubblerealm.Instantaneously both the question andthe answer along with the bubble-realm andawareness itself disappeared.(Awareness was part of the Illusion)142
