Thereis, however, no way to au<strong>the</strong>nticate how <strong>the</strong>se women were abused, or whe<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong> culpritwas really a Japanese military man. Nei<strong>the</strong>r can one verify who took <strong>the</strong>m and on whatdate.
