AkbarzadehSummary:Grain oriented silicon steel sheets have been widely used in manufacturing oftransformer and generator cores.The manufacturing process of these sheets consist of various stages including steelmaking and casting, controlled hot rolling, intermediate annealing, cold rolling,decarburizing, coating and final annealing.In this research project various experiments were performed regarding manufacturingprocess of semi – processed silicon steel sheets to obtain know-how of beforementioned stages (i.e. steel making and casting, controlled hot rolling, intermediateannealing and cold rolling).At present using the prepared Know-how, it is possible to produce silicon steel sheetswith suitable properties and it is anticipated that the obtained results are used in massproduction of these sheets111
