DanaeiProject Code: PSYPN05Summary:Power system reliability evaluation and analysis software, developed in electric researchcenter of NRI, is a very useful tool for reliability evaluation of transmission andsubtransmission networks both for the present networks and planning scenarios. Thissoftware has a powerful database for recording all over failures which are ocuured in thepower system. By this database which is prepared by ACCESS engine, all the reliabilityindices can be calculated and reported very easiliy. Graphical reports in this sectionhave a main rule in network analysing for reliability engineers.With using the reliability indices calculated in the evaluation part of the software andthe topology of the power system, the network can be analysed for reliability indicessuch asunavalability, “energy not supplied” and so on for both the present situation andthe scenarios for improving the system reliability.Another main part of this software is sensitivity analysis. By this analysis, thesensitivity of the reliability indices with respect to “mean time to repair” index of all the4
