NRIMass Production of Research Projects PrototypesResearch Prototypes which are on Production LineSummary:Experience shows that performing research projects wouldn’t be sufficient to achievespecific know-how, and won’t make enough motivation. Considering the problems anddifficulties which we face to in research projects, and lack of practical usage of theresults, lead to the waste of national resources. Therefore a specific policy should bedefined for utilizing the results that subsequently will lead to the country progress. Inparallel with the research activities, fulfillment of Third Economical Development Plantargets, increasing the level of national production, and creating more occupationalopportunities, the results of several research projects which had prototypes, weretransferred to private sectors for mass production. It’s worth to be mentioned here that so many activities should be performed on researchprototypes to be economically produced. In this regard we could run the productionlines of 14 research projects. For the time being, some of our products have completed their production cycle andhave passed quality control filters. It means that in near future our Electric PowerIndustry will utilize 14 new made products with national know-how.These products are as follows:1- OCR (Over Current Relay)2- SEF (Sensitive Earth Fault Relay)3- OCEF (Over Current Earth Fault Relay)4- FL (Fault Locator)5- PLC101 (Programme Logic Controller)6- D PLC (Digital Power Line Carrier)7- Digital First Phase Meter8- Composite Insulator up to 63 kV9- Deaerator with the capacity of more than 10 t/hr10- Digital 3 Phase Meter11- Zinc Oxide Varistor12- Composite Insulator for 230 kV13- Composite Surge Arrester14- Pine Type Composite Insulator137
