MansouriSummary:Recovery Energy from municipal solid waste carried to new way for productionelectrical power. Incineration is increasingly looked to as favorable means of wastetreatment and disposal, Particularly due to harmless disposal and less impact toenvironment as compared to alternative methods.In this project, after quantity & quality analyses of the municipal solid waste of Tehranand determining of their energy power plant was designed in conceptual. Moreover, aenvironmental analysis on establishment a such powerplant in Tehran was done. In factwe saw both positive and negative effects of establishment and operation an incinerationpower plant. It was also done an evaluation of electricity price of incineration based onwaste analyses and the other economical and technical parameters. Finally, a waste toenergy pilotplant, a 50 kg/hr SAU type incinerator, was designed, constructed andinstalled in Karaj Recovery & Composting Organization.The performance test ofpilotplant both incineration and energy saving was done and documented.A Waste to Energy Pilotplant which installed in Karaj63
