EtmedySummary:Syncronous generators are commonly used in various industries for powergeneration.Various range of alloy (alluminum, iron,copper alloy and nonmetalic) areused in generator and process for manufacturing is included casting, forging, heattreating and machining. In this project material selection has been done for the designedgenerator and also manufacturing procedures have been prepared. Analysis of fatigue ingenerator shaft was performed utilizing Ansys software. Finally after optimizing designand material selection the generator was manufactured according to determinedspecification.Project Results: Selecting material for generator components. Preparing manufacturing procedures for generator components. Analyzing fatigue in generator shaft.119
