Rapidgenerations by these generative tools provide design optimized solutions and especially inbuildings with repetitive functions, it can be used efficiently. Housing projects are one ofthese types of projects that can be generated computationally. This way of generatingalternatives also supports mass customization.We use concepts of generative design and mass customization to develop a generative toolthat can help the designer to generate abstract plan alternatives for row-houses. In this paper,the chosen relations and parameters are introduced briefly. The spatial relations are centeredon the core of this tool. The sizes of the lot and the number of houses are the basicparameters.
