However, although the rules clearly regulate thefeatures of individual protective equipment (IPE) -such as fall arrest <strong>de</strong>vices, fasteningsystems or harnesses-, they do not account for the elements that must yield the appropriatestatic and dynamic mechanical behaviour of different systems, i.e. the anchors of both netsand IPE.
