We arefacing the need to ensure water quality by using technical systems, and thus a basicrequirement of life for today's civilization is becoming a treatment, transport, heating andwater purification. Taking into consideration all these facts we decided to extent our researchon hot water quality management. The presence of the bacteria Legionella in water systemsespecially in the hot water distribution system represents in terms of health protection ofinhabitants the crucial problem which is not possible to overlook. There are a lot of guidelinesand regulations developed in many individual countries for the design, operation andmaintenance for tap water systems to avoid the growth of bacteria Legionella. Controlmeasures have proved that the thermal disinfection is not a suitable system treatment. Newstrategies are tend to permanent disinfection due to the fact that spasmodic disinfection is notenough reliable to ensure required standard. It is on the designer to safeguard the maximumreliability not only for a startup operation but for the whole longevity of the design system.As the outcome the package of precautionary recommendations and technical measures wasprepared to reduce the risk of Legionella. In our experiment, using of Water QualityManagement methods, especially Risk analysis, the water heater tank was verified as a sourceof Legionellas. Water temperature is one of the risky factors so we simulated the layering oftemperature and water flow velocity in boiler by Fluent 6.3.
