Fibre Bragg grating (FBG), The punctual strain, the integralelongation using long fiber gauges, the quasi-distributed strain and temperatures and thedistributed strain and temperatures of building structures using fiber sensing technologiesduring the construction, the current life and during the rehabilitation of building structures canbe measured. The four more successfully fiber sensing technologies for these mentionedpurposes will be presented and discussed in this paper. Several examples will be described.37º <strong>IAHS</strong> <strong>World</strong> <strong>Congress</strong> On Housing Science 331
