Storm water in urban areas may cause many problems as a result of wrongrainwater management and increasing urbanization, for example overloading seweragesystems, floods and local decreasing of ground water table. At the same time there is anotherproblem which is enormous consumption of potable water for no potable purposes. Suchattitude is unsustainable. Given article is aimed for sustainable rainwater and storm watermanagement, its reuse and infiltration in urban areas. Nowadays when huge part of worldsuffers from the water scarcity, we cannot afford such wastage of water even though there aresufficient sources in our conditions. Contemporary potable water management is notsustainable whereas we use potable water for flushing toilets, irrigation or washing vehicles.The appropriate solution is to substitute potable water to rainwater for some purposes and thiswater source is considered to be sustainable. All approaches which lead to better watermanagement help not only us but especially next generations.
