If an error occurs, you will find instructions on manually updating<br />

your TWiki on <strong>the</strong> TWiki homepage at http://twiki.org/cgibin/view/TWiki/TWikiUpgradeGuide.<br />

If you should actually need to uninstall TWiki for some reason, for<br />

instance because you are switching servers, you must do so manually;<br />

<strong>the</strong>re is no uninstall routine. This is no big deal, however, because<br />

<strong>the</strong> TWiki stores all of its data in <strong>the</strong> twiki directory. Thus, if<br />

you delete that directory, all TWiki data will be removed. You<br />

should <strong>the</strong>n undo <strong>the</strong> adjustments made to <strong>the</strong> Apache configuration<br />

file httpd.conf. To do so, remove all entries linking to <strong>the</strong> twiki directory:<br />

Also, delete <strong>the</strong> ScriptAlias and <strong>the</strong> alias for <strong>the</strong> TWiki directories,<br />

and remove <strong>the</strong> specific entries in <strong>the</strong> areas and . These steps will<br />

remove all traces of TWiki.<br />
