Marika Apostolova Trpkovska, M-r.; Burim Ismaili, BsC.market. The laptop today is no longer a luxury but an everyday need forfaster and more effective way to carry out the obligations of the students intheir faculties and contributes better and closer communication betweenteachers and students.Doc. Dr. Lejla Abazi-Bexheti, Director of Computer Center, SEEUBelow I represent my opinion regarding the idea of offering a mini laptopto each student at SEEU. The computers in general and especially laptopshelp a lot in enhancing student learning. But, I don’t think that by givingstudents in our Faculty laptops we can achieve better teaching and learningoutcome. Of course, I am part of the teaching staff at the Faculty ofContemporary Sciences and Technologies, where students work in computerlabs provided with Personal Computers for each of them. From theperspective of other faculties the situation might be entirely different.Arlind Musliu, ID 116863, 1st year SEEU student,Faculty of Business InformaticsMy opinion is that we do need mini laptops for everyday use. Libri andWebmail are one of the many factors why do we need laptops, so we canmaximize the use of technology and e-learning. We have many assignmentswhich need to be done through computers and this also shows that the usageof laptops for studying purpose is huge. Because of the economic crisis, many of the students cannot afford to buy personal computers even thoughusing them is a must. That's why I strongly agree that a laptop for everystudent is a necessary thing to do.ConclusionsIn conclusion, seven different research methods were used, with morethan 480 SEEU and community students from all faculties accompanied bySEEU staff opinions. The main conclusion from the hypotheses is proven: that the use ofindividual student laptops supports effective learning and encouragesstudents to participate and produce good quality work with minimumtechnical issues.124
