Participatesand offer advice on drafting the code of ethics in the public and privatesectors; 12. Provides opinions regarding conflicts of interest and thesupervision of gifts related to the performance of official duty; 13. Offersclarification regarding the manner of declaration of wealth and issues fromthe scope of the Agency; 14. Collects, analyses and publishes statistical dataor other data regarding the state of corruption in Kosovo; 15. Cooperateswith state institutions and civil society for raising public awareness aboutcorruption; 16. Reports to the Assembly once a year and to the Commissionevery sex (6) months for the work of the Agency. The Commission mayrequest more frequent reports from the Agency; 17. Prepares and proposesthe annual budget of the Agency (Art. 5).The law on the Anti-corruption Agency also contains provisions, whichset forth the authorities of the Agency Supervisory Board. According to thisLaw, The Oversight Committee of the Agency has the followingcompetences: 1. <strong>Review</strong>s the reports of the Agency; 2. Supervises andperiodically assess the performance of the Director of the Agency; 3.Initiates the procedure for selection and dismissal of the Director of theAgency; 4. Upon the submission of the report of the Agency, the Committeemay request a special report regarding the cases the Agency has terminatedthe investigations; 5. The report shall comprise the clarification regarding thereasons for closing these cases without mentioning the identity or thepersonal data of the investigated people; 6. Controls and supervises thewealth stated by senior officials of the Agency and the conflict of interestcases in accordance with the rules and procedure by special Laws (Art. 14).This law contains provisions referring to the Anti-Corruption Strategyand Anti Corruption Action Plan. Pursuant to this law, the Agency togetherwith the Government and other governmental and non-governmentalinstitutions drafts the Anti corruption Strategy (Art. 16). The AntiCorruption Agency, for the period 2009-2011, is approved by the KosovoAssembly in 2009, and represents the comprehensive document which setsforth the objectives of policies against corruption in Kosovo for the period2009-2011. The Strategy identifies and determines priority sectors where thewar against corruption and specific objectives against corruption shall beimplemented by every institution in<strong>vol</strong>ved in the category of priority sectors.The anti corruption strategy is focused in the seven priority sectors: PoliticalSector, Local Government, Central Public Administration, Monitoring andLaw Enforcement Agencies and the Judiciary, Public Finances and theirManagement, Private Sector/ Business Operations and Civil Society (Anti-67
