By Prof. Dr. Ferid MuhiqThe manuscript presents collection ofessays, columns, articles andpresentations that the author published inthe period 2006/2007, in Macedonianlanguage mainly in “Утринскивесник”(daily newspaper in Macedonian) and inAlbanian language in “Fakti” and“Flaka”, and as well in conferences, symposiums and round tables. Despite theextremely wide range of topics discussed, the author manages to keep cohesivenessof the book by emphasizing the centralsubject of his interest. Namely, it is abouta successful attempt to determine thecontent and quality of the politicalchanges made in the field ofdemocratization of society, especially inthe period known as "transition" mainlyin Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania. He writesabout attitudes of Amin Maalouf onaspects of identity, and the battle ofChirichuaApache led by Cochise andGeronimo in order to preserve their ownidentity, for the war of the African tribesTutsi and Hutu, for the treatment ofAlbanians (Shqiptarët) since the time ofDushan Code; Jashari's writing forharassment of Albanians and attempts fortheir denationalization in Kosovo, fromthe mid-fifties ofthe lastcentury, to thebeginning of the third millennium, inanattemptto totally ethnic "cleansing" ofKosovo from the Albanian population;the author also speaks about therelationship of the Serbians towardBosnians during the war period 1992-1995, with the crimes that culminate withgenocide against Bosnians executed in198
