By Prof. Dr. Esat STAVILECI*Whenever I talk or write about a book, Iprefer to use aphorisms about it. Thistime, three aphorisms applied:1. To never write my name on the bookthat I buy, before reading it, becauseonly then can I say that the book ismine.2. The book is more valuable than all themonuments, because the book itselfwill grow memorials!3. This book reflects the author as a mirrorreflects beauty! To talk positively about a book to thosewho have not read it, is to tell them theywill like the book because they have likedothers similar to it.With pleasure I accept talking about thenew book of professor and diplomatBlerim Reka, "Geopolitics and techniquesof EU enlargement", because he is acolleague with whom I have collaboratedand because of the high consideration Ihave for his writing.I recommend to you this book to readwith attention and devotion, either forgaining basic knowledge, or to deepen it,about a topic of much interest, both forMacedonia and for Kosovo: thegeopolitics and techniques of EuropeanUnion enlargement.Allow me at the beginning to mentionthat the work of Blerim Reka is steadilyincreasing. Now he is not only a creatorthat promises, but a creator who claims, the pinnacle of scientific creativity andfor that I congratulate him. He is up todate and he provided and explainedenough to be trusted. My evaluation about the newest book ofBlerim Reka corresponds with theassessments of other reviewers, some ofwhich are shown here.* Member of Academy of Science and Arts ofKosovaMimoza Halimi, ambassador of Albaniato the European Union, said: "In myview, the book of Dr. Reka is not just anacademic synthesis combined withdiplomatic experience, but also a guidewhich leads the accuracy of thecomplicated labyrinths of thisorganization”.While Artur Kuko, representative ofAlbania to NATO, writes: "I wouldwarmly like to commend the author forhis valuable book..., especially for hiscontribution to the elaboration of thedimension of challenges to regionalintegration efforts”.Reportedly, the best book is not the onethe author writes, but one the readerrequires. Our literature has lacked a booksuch as this one that correlates geopoliticsand the technique of expansion of theEuropean Union. This merger has comefrom an author who is not only a"contributor to this process, but also a"witness of its historic development."Unlike some others that while promotinga book, speak more about the author thanthe book, I would like to expose this192
