The foodand sustenance there is the speech of God, withoutletters and without sounds. Those who arebrought into this world as children, when theyhear that Speech, remember nothing of their for-

Some remember a little bit,and the longing and yearning for the other side isquickened in them. They seek out Truth. They arethe believers. Some, when they hear that Speech,the Presence of God becomes manifest beforetheir eyes, even as it was long ago. The veils areentirely removed, and they are joined in thatunion. These are the prophets and the saints.NowI say this to you earnestly, when the brides ofheavenly truth show their faces within you andtheir secrets are revealed, beware, do not tell thisto strangers. Do not describe what you have witnessedto others, and do not tell everyone thesewords of mine.”Do not impart wisdom to thosenot worthy,lest you do wisdom wrong.And, donot withhold from the worthy,lest you do themwrong.”If a fair and adorable lover surrenders toyou privately in your house, saying, “Show me tono one, for I belong to you,” it would never beproper for you to parade her in the bazaars and tocall out, “Come and see this beauty!” That wouldnever be agreeable to such an adorable one.
