You do not intend to let the activeone go unrewarded, but that is what happens.It is impossible to determine the cause <strong>of</strong> God’sgrace. This right eye and this left eye both appearthe same. What service has the right eye performedthat the left eye has not? And the righthand—what work has it done that the left handhas not done? Yet Divine favor has fallen on theright hand and right eye. So too, Friday has beenpreferred over the rest <strong>of</strong> the days.“God has certain portions to bestow on peopleOther than those inscribed on the Tablet,So let everyone seek for them on Friday.”Now what service has Friday performed thatthe other days have not? Yet God bestowed Hisgrace and special mark <strong>of</strong> honor upon Friday.
