This includedover 12,500 people as a result of the CitigroupBPO acquisition as well as over 750 peopleinsourced from customer organizations.Chart 19: Growing talent Base: Gross andnet employee addition in last 3 years5.1 Talent retention: The attrition rate of 11.4%(previous year 12.6%) in fiscal 2009 is thelowest in the industry. As at March 31, 2009 women constituted30% of the Company’s workforce (28% as atMarch 31, 2008). The Company employedpersons from 67 different nationalities.
