All data was collected under <strong>the</strong> direct supervisionof experienced field geologists. Operational data since production resumed in 2005 wasalso considered in <strong>the</strong> mineral reserves estimates presented herewith. The updatedmetallurgical test work, new block models <strong>for</strong> Verde and Pancho and updated operating andcapital costs <strong>for</strong>m <strong>the</strong> basis of <strong>the</strong> mineral reserve and mineral resource estimates.This report has been prepared under <strong>the</strong> direct supervision of <strong>the</strong> qualified person with directcontributions from CMM technical staff. A number of o<strong>the</strong>r sources of in<strong>for</strong>mation have beenused in <strong>the</strong> compilation of this report and a complete list of references is provided in Section21 of this report.2.5 Field Involvement of <strong>the</strong> Qualified PersonM. Bélanger has been associated with <strong>the</strong> <strong>Maricunga</strong> <strong>Mine</strong> since November 2003 and hasvisited <strong>the</strong> site on numerous occasions during that time frame. In 2006, a total of 75 dayswere spent at <strong>the</strong> <strong>Maricunga</strong> mine site. Regular visits were also made during <strong>the</strong> course of2007.18
