<strong>Kinross</strong> <strong>Gold</strong> Corporation<strong>Maricunga</strong> <strong>Mine</strong> <strong>Technical</strong> <strong>Report</strong>Sample selection was restricted within an optimized pit shell generated at a US $400 goldprice. Table 16-1 summarizes <strong>the</strong> Bottle Roll sample selection.Results of <strong>the</strong> bottle roll tests show distinct differences in recovery based on <strong>the</strong> level ofoxidation. Oxide ores exhibit higher recoveries than mixed ores which, in turn, demonstratehigher recoveries than <strong>the</strong> sulphide ores. These findings agreed with <strong>the</strong> historicalmetallurgical test work and experience gained from mining in <strong>the</strong> Verde area.
