Kunc et al.Thermograms of the teats were obtained in following intervals:• premilking immediately;• postmilking immediately;• 1 st minute postmilking;• 2 nd minute postmilking;• 3 rd minute postmilking;• 4 th minute postmilking;• 5 th minute postmilking.The special computer program IRwin 5.3.1 was used for evaluation ofthermograms and data analyses.The changes of teat temperatures between <strong>no</strong>n-disinfected (NDT) anddisinfected teats (DT) are detailed in figure1. This diagram shows the courseof teat temperature with and without disinfectant until 5 th minutes. Theincreased teat temperature was recorded immediately after milking. Thatsupports the findings of Hamann (1985), Eichel (1992), Kunc et al. (1999a)and Barth (2000) in dairy cows. But the different course resp. the differencesbetween teat temperature with and without disinfecting were found out.The temperature in NDT declined about 0.56±0.64 o C, in DT about2.06±0.78 o C until 1 st minute after milking.
