MODIFIED POLYOXIDE CATALYSTS FOR SYNTHESIS OFOXYGENCONTAINING COMPOUNDS FROM OIL GASESPP-II-28Dossumov K., Massalimova B.K., Tungatarova S.A., Kuzembai K.K.D.V. Sokolsky Institute of Organic Catalysis and Electrochemisrty MS&HE RK,Almaty, Republic of KazakhstanE-mail: tungatarova58@mail.ruThe supported polyoxide catalysts on the base of Мо and W, and also naturalKazakhstan's clay in the process of oxidative conversion of propane and propane-butanemixtures are investigated. The influence of reaction temperature, contact time andintroduction of water vapor in a reactionary gas mixture are determined. The importantpetrochemical products - acetone (500-550 о С) and acetaldehyde (300-350 о С) are the mainliquid products of reaction on natural Kazakhstan's clays and also on clays modified by Mo,Bi, Cr, Ga ions.Supported polyoxide catalysts on the basis of Mo, Cr, Ga, Bi, and Ce as well as naturalclays of Kazakhstan, were tested in the process of oxidative conversion of propane-butanemixture. The influence of reaction temperature, contact time, composition and content ofactive component of catalyst were determined. The experiments were carried out atatmospheric pressure in a continuous-flow unit with a fixed-bed quartz-tube reactor. The gasmixture used for oxidation contained C 3 H 8 -C 4 H 10 from 14 to 80 % and oxygen from 4 to18 %in different ratios at 300-700 o C and W=330-15000h -1 . Analysis of the reactants and productswas carried out chromatographically with an "Agilent Technologies" instrument. Thecatalysts were characterized by XRD and EM analysis, and their surface area, porosity, andelemental composition were determined. It was found that the partial oxidation of propane-butane mixture with varying thecatalytic mixture composition and the contact time yielded acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methanol, acetaldehyde, crotonic aldehyde, butanol, and acetic acid, as well as C 2 -C 3unsaturated hydrocarbons. It was shown that conversion proceeds with the formation ofgaseous and liquid products. Important petrochemicals, such as acetone (500-550 o C) andacetaldehyde (300-350 o C) are main liquid products. Ethylene is the main product of gasphase. Yield of ethylene increases starting from 450 o C. Ternary catalyst is more active thantwo-component samples. Optimal space velocities for catalysts with different content ofactive phase over carriers were determined. Up to 23 % of acetone and 35 % of methyl ethylketone on 1%MoCrGa/Clay were produced at W=1350h -1 . Increase of content of acetone up213
