PP-III-66With regard to the Bi-CATr instrument, the procedure of carrying out the typical kineticexperiments is still an open issue, as well as is a related issue of the results reproducibility byusing standard samples. It is especially important in conditions of bringing model experimentscloser to the real ones when the gas composition by its components (CH 4, О 2 , CO, NO x ) isclose to the composition of exhaust gases corresponding to lean and rich fuel mixtures. Insuch cases, it is probably necessary to take into account the change of order of reactions andkinetic design equations. In our opinion, it is necessary to develop additional software tocreate and process the experimental data base with a view to detect one- or multiparametricdependences of the catalytic activity on the composition, technological parameters of catalyticsynthesis, etc.In order to use the procedures of measuring the specific surface areas of catalysts andcoated metals, there will required standard samples with the known specific surface area andcharacteristics of porosity. The Bi-Sorbchemo instrument, if slightly modified, will allow tomake experiments on thermoprogrammed oxidation and revivification.As a conclusion, we would like to point out that this equipment complex is operatingcontinuously, and the received results enabled our company to fulfil a number of productiontask.
