PP-II-78SYNTHESIS AND STUDY OF CATALYSTS FOR OLEFIN POLYMERIZATIONPREPARED WITH USE OF THE COMPOUNDS OF TITANIUM IN THE VARIOUSOXIDATION STATES AND MgCl 2 –CONTAINING SUPPORTMikenas T.B., Tregubov A.A., Zakharov V.A., Echevskaya L.G., Matsko M.A.Boreskov Institute of Catalysis SB RAS, Novosibirsk, RussiaE-mail: mikenas@catalysis.nsk.suNowdays an actual task is search of modification methods and new compositions of thesupported Ziegler-type catalysts, allowing more widely and precisely to control molecularstructure of polymers. In this work we have investigated the influence of oxidation state of titanium and theeffect of alkoxy -groups introduction in the composition of titanium compounds on catalyticproperties of MgCl 2 -supported catalysts in ethylene polymerization and ethylene -α- olefincopolymerization. For preparation of supported titanium - magnesium catalysts (ТМC) of variouscompositions preliminary soluble compounds of the titanium in various oxidation states: η 6 -arene-Ti 2+ Al 2 Cl 8 , Ti 3+ Cl • 3 nDBE , Ti 4+ (OEt) n Cl 4-n have been synthesized and analysed byEPR and С 13 -NMR methods.ТМC have been prepared by adsorption of these compounds on various magnesium –containing supports. The data on oxidation states of titanium in these catalysts afterinteraction with the carrier and aluminiumorganic cocatalysts have been obtained with the useEPR and ESXA methods. These catalysts are investigated in homopolymerization of ethylene and copolymerizationof ethylene with α- olefin; the data on the effect of titanium compounds composition and Mgcontainingsupport composition on activity, regulation of molecular weight of PE byhydrogen, copolymerization ability, molecular- mass distribution of polymers are obtained.306
