The crew uses the coaxial machine gun against fixed-wing aircraft, unarmoredhelicopters, and airborne troops. It is ineffective against heavily armored helicopters suchas the Hind. When used, the coax machine gun must fire a continuous burst (50 to 100rounds) at the aiming point, and the BC must use TOT to bring the rounds on target.
