<strong>TEFI</strong> <strong>TCA</strong> – <strong>id</strong>. <strong>code</strong> <strong>3919</strong>2.4.24 The Marchetti and Quaranta model (1984)A model that has placed more importance on the evaluation ofpotential, through a diagnostic type of intervention aimed athighlighting those characteristics, abilities and aptitudes that are notused in the ambit of the normal activities.Potential is not intended here in an absolute sense. The authors statethat this model is most adequate for very competitive situations.The components for evaluating can be found in managerial tasks,social and interpersonal abilities, problem solving and in the influenceon results.Each one of these areas holds specific behavioural abilities that give aprofile of skills.2.4.25 The Hay-McBer model (1983)This model <strong>id</strong>entifies a collection of different skills according to theprofessional system of reference, a particular that differs it fromother models. Those factors are looked for that render the workperformance qualitatively positive in a certain organizational context,which characterizes it as an inductive-experimental type of approach.The tool is the interview, that investigates the modality in which thesubjects, with a certain professionalism, face situations of successesand failure.
