The second focus are trainingand job finding activities for unemployed migrants. Up to now(September 2006) more than 300 unemployed migrants have beentrained in six month courses, 20% of them found a job in the firstlabour market. In addition 21 vocational training opportunities foryoung migrants have been created, more than 90% of them inmigrant enterprises.As I am the author of the German <strong>report</strong> for evaluation (I,4), I wantto be brief in commenting it. What seems to be obvious, however, isthe fact, that the German <strong>report</strong> prov<strong>id</strong>es more concrete informationabout procedures, cooperation partners, strong and weak points thanthe other <strong>TEFI</strong> partners d<strong>id</strong>.d) The Lithuanian approachThe Lithuanian paper (I,1) does not say much about the Lithuanianapproach, and also the information about the activities of theLithuanian DP are rather succinct. We learn from the <strong>report</strong> that „thefirst big social research since 15 years“ has been conducted „todiscover social problems of national minorities“. The findings are not<strong>report</strong>ed. In addition cooperation networks are created in the fields oftourism and culture in two different regions (Vilnius and Salcininkairegion). The purpose is to create jobs in these fields for nationalminorities.
